Dialog Enterprise, the corporate ICT solutions arm of Dialog Axiata PLC, has announced a strategic partnership with United States-based cybersecurity company Seceon Inc in a move aimed at strengthening Sri Lanka’s growing cybersecurity infrastructure through advanced artificial intelligence-powered threat detection technology.
Under the new collaboration, Dialog Enterprise will integrate Seceon’s aiSIEM platform into its managed security services, allowing Sri Lankan businesses to identify, monitor, and respond to cyber threats in real time using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and behavioural analytics technologies.
The platform combines multiple cybersecurity capabilities into a single system, including automated threat detection, incident response, user behaviour analytics, threat intelligence, and network security monitoring. According to both companies, the system is designed to help organisations improve visibility across cloud platforms, internal networks, digital identities, and enterprise applications while reducing response times during cyber incidents.
Seceon Founder and CEO Chandra S. Pandey stated that the partnership would help make advanced AI-driven cybersecurity solutions more accessible to businesses operating in Sri Lanka. He explained that the platform simplifies security operations while improving organisations’ ability to detect and respond to rapidly evolving cyber threats.
Meanwhile, Dialog Enterprise noted that the partnership comes at a critical time as Sri Lankan companies increasingly adopt cloud computing, hybrid work environments, and digital transformation strategies. As businesses become more digitally connected, cybersecurity threats such as ransomware, phishing attacks, identity theft, and data breaches have also become more sophisticated.
For Sri Lanka, the partnership reflects the country’s growing focus on digital infrastructure and cyber resilience as more sectors shift toward technology-driven operations. Financial institutions, telecommunications providers, government agencies, manufacturing companies, and online service platforms have all seen rising pressure to strengthen cybersecurity protections amid increasing global cyber threats.
Cybersecurity experts warn that developing economies such as Sri Lanka are becoming increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks due to rapid digital adoption combined with gaps in security awareness, technical expertise, and infrastructure readiness. As a result, demand for enterprise-grade cybersecurity solutions has expanded significantly in recent years.
Navin Pieris, Group Chief Officer of Dialog Enterprise, said the collaboration with Seceon would allow local enterprises to access international-standard cybersecurity services while benefiting from local expertise and more competitive pricing structures.
Industry analysts say AI-powered security systems are becoming increasingly important because traditional cybersecurity methods are often unable to respond quickly enough to modern automated cyberattacks. Advanced AI systems can continuously analyse network behaviour, identify unusual activity, and automatically respond to threats before major damage occurs.
The partnership is also expected to strengthen cybersecurity readiness across key Sri Lankan industries by helping organisations proactively manage digital risks while ensuring operational continuity and regulatory compliance.
What happens next will likely depend on how rapidly Sri Lankan enterprises adopt AI-based cybersecurity technologies as digital transformation accelerates across the country. Experts believe investments in cyber resilience will become increasingly critical as Sri Lanka expands its digital economy in the coming years.
