The Fort Magistrate's Court has ordered former State Intelligence Service (SIS) Director Suresh Salley to provide the passwords for his mobile phones and laptop computers to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to facilitate ongoing investigations.
The order was issued by the Fort Magistrate following a request made in connection with the continuing inquiry.
According to court proceedings, the passwords are to be handed over to the CID to enable investigators to carry out further forensic examinations of the electronic devices.
The investigations are continuing under the supervision of the relevant authorities.
