Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced its list of nationally contracted players for the 2026–27 season, with a total of 46 cricketers receiving contracts covering the period from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.

According to SLC, players have been placed into various contract categories based on factors such as performance, consistency, fitness, future potential and the requirements of the national teams.

The governing body stated that the contracts are intended to provide players with the necessary support and resources to perform at the highest level while contributing to the long-term development of Sri Lankan cricket.

Several players have earned national contracts for the first time, including Kamil Mishara, Lasith Croospulle, Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, Isitha Wijesundera, Wanuja Sahan, Dilum Sudeera and Tharindu Rathnayake.

Sri Lanka Cricket said the selection reflects its commitment to rewarding performance, developing emerging talent and maintaining a strong player pool capable of representing the country across all formats of international cricket.

Among the notable names receiving contracts are Kusal Mendis, Dhananjaya de Silva, Wanindu Hasaranga, Pathum Nissanka, Charith Asalanka, Kamindu Mendis, Dushmantha Chameera, Maheesh Theekshana and Matheesha Pathirana.

SLC further expressed confidence that the contracted players will continue to uphold high standards of professionalism and contribute towards the success of the national team during the upcoming international season.
