Sri Lanka women’s cricketer Imesha Dulani has been nominated for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for April 2026 following a series of impressive performances in both ODI and T20I cricket.

The ICC announced that Dulani is among the three finalists for the award alongside South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt and Brazil’s Laura Cardoso.

Dulani played a key role in Sri Lanka’s recent ODI series victory against Bangladesh, scoring 116 runs in three matches at an average of 38.66. Her performances included two half-centuries, helping Sri Lanka secure a 2-1 series win. She was also named Player of the Series for her consistent contributions with the bat.

The Sri Lankan batter continued her strong form in the T20I series as well, scoring 82 runs in two matches. Her standout knock came in the opening game where she made a well-crafted 55 runs, guiding Sri Lanka to a 25-run victory.

Her recent performances are seen as a major boost for Sri Lanka ahead of the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup scheduled to begin on June 12.

Meanwhile, South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt was also nominated after scoring heavily against New Zealand and India across both ODI and T20I formats.

Brazil’s Laura Cardoso earned her nomination following an extraordinary all-round display, including a historic bowling spell of 9 wickets for just 4 runs in a Women’s T20I match against Lesotho.
